Iโve noticed a quiet shift happening here at Dune Lakes as we move deeper into autumn. The light softens, the mornings arrive a little slower, and the land seems to exhale. Itโs a time of grounding โ of drawing inward while staying gently connected to whatโs unfolding around us. If you feel it too, youโre not alone in it.
Thereโs also a deeper undercurrent that feels worth naming. Something is moving through at the moment โ hard to put language to without it sounding abstract, yet very present. A sense of pressure, intensity, and change beneath the surface. On a wider level, it can feel like a herd in motion โ energy rising, direction shifting, old structures falling away. From within it can seem chaotic, but from a wider view thereโs a deeper intelligence at work, a reorganisation taking place, finding its way toward a new coherence.
Here at Dune Lakes, that same movement is felt in a more grounded way. It lives within each of us โ in the stretch, the restlessness, the quiet opening. And so we return, like a horse finding its footing, to what is steady and real: the land, the breath, and the presence of one another. What feels most important now is the gathering of a conscious human herd โ people and resources coming together in unity and harmony. In that shared presence, something steadies. The movement doesnโt stop, but it becomes navigableโฆ and within it, a quiet stillness begins to emerge.
This is the invitation here โ not to figure it all out, but to feel into it together. To be part of a living rhythm that is unfolding moment by moment, season by season.
This past weekend, the land came alive in a different rhythm as we hosted an incredible drumming camp. The steady beat of drums echoed across the land and through the trees โ primal, connective, and deeply centering. Thereโs something timeless about gathering in circle, feeling rhythm move through the body, and remembering that we are part of something ancient and shared. The energy lingered long after the final beat fadedโฆ a reminder of the power of coming together in presence.
And the rhythm continues. Next weekend we welcome the Handpan Festival, where sound becomes something almost otherworldly โ soft, expansive, and deeply meditative. If you feel called, you are warmly invited to join us in this experience of sound, space, and stillness.
As we move toward the end of the month, we shift again โ this time into stillness. Our โDigital Detoxโ Retreat for the Electro-Hypersensitive offers a space to unplug from the noise and reconnect with whatโs real and immediate. No screens, no urgency โ just nature, community, and the quiet wisdom that arises when we give ourselves permission to slow down. You are welcome to join us in this pause.
Life at Dune Lakes continues to be guided by a simple rhythm โ not imposed, but felt. Like a herd finding its natural flow, thereโs an unspoken understanding here: awareness of one another, respect for space, and a shared intention to live in harmony. Itโs not about perfection, but about presence.
The gardens are still giving, the water remains clear and abundant, and the land continues to hold all who arrive with openness. If you feel the call, reach out, there is space here for you to land, to listen, and to simply be part of what is unfolding.
As we settle into this season, thereโs a gentle invitation: to simplify, to listen more deeply, and to remember that abundance often lives in the spaces weโve been too busy to notice.
If this resonates, you are warmly welcome here.
